Regina is the capital city of Saskatchewan, and has a population of 179,246. Regina was established in 1882, attained national prominence in 1885, and was incorporated as a city on June 19th, 1903 - but it wasn’t until May 23rd 1906 that it was named the capital of Saskatchewan.
Regina is a beautiful oasis on the prairies with more than 350,000 hand-planted trees. There are many attractions and events that take place all year in Regina for residents and tourists alike.
Downtown Regina is brimming with arts and cultural opportunities just waiting for you to experience. Check out our famous Applause Dinner Theatre – where you can enjoy a buffet while watching a live theatre performance.
