The Cathedral Freehouse in Regina first opened its doors in 1996 and quickly became one of Regina's favorite restaurants. Freehouse always makes an effort to reflect the rich variety of the Cathedral area through its menu and design thus making it a unique location for friends and family. At Cathedral Freehouse they focus mainly on their locally brewed beer and gourmet pizzas; just two of many things to enjoy. The atmosphere in laid back and relaxed and the walls are covered with pictures and local art. Not only do they serve good food at a low cost but they also help out in the community. Freehouse financially supports local artists and community endeavours. They are also a major corporate sponser of the Art Gallery of Regina as well as the Cathedral Village Arts Festival.
