Be ready for a day of fun, of exploring, of hands-on learning when you and your family go to the popular Saskatchewan Science Centre. The Science Centre is located inside the former city powerhouse, a landmark on Wascana Lake since 1914.
There are three floors of exhibit space that include more than 100 hands-on exhibits and a 60-foot climbing wall, one of the tallest in Canada! One permanent exhibit called The Science of Hockey is fun for all fans: it allows you to test your reaction times and also to take slapshots a virtual goalie.
There are demonstrations held on every hour, where youll learn about geological, astronomical and biological phenomena. The larger-than-life Kramer Imax Theater is connected to the Science Center and has movies displayed on a 5-story screen!
2903 Powerhouse Drive, in Wascana Centre, is the location of the Science Centre.
